Elizabeth McNamer
teaches at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. She received her undergraduate and master's degrees from Gonzaga University and her doctorate from Montana State University. She is editor of Scripture from Scratch, a popular guide to understanding scripture. Saint Anthony Messenger Press produces McNamer's videos on scripture and the Teaching Company of America chose her New Testament course for video production in 1993. She is a director of the Bethsaida excavations in Israel and has partaken in the excavations for the past eight seasons. McNamer's present area of research is the first hundred years of Christianity in Jerusalem.
