Endorsements

"This book is an example of the spiritual courage of one gay priest who struggled with his sexuality as he tried to find out what was God's will for him."
—from the foreword

"An honest, moving, and articulate memoir by one of the few priests who are not only chaste, celibate, and faithful, but also openly gay."
—James Martin, SJ, author of Building a Bridge

"Three cheers and a hundred thanks to Paul Morrissey for sharing his story. Despite strong opposition from others including church leaders, Morrissey has insisted on the goodness of the homosexual orientation while living out the commitment to celibacy."
—Charles E Curran, author of Sixty Years of Moral Theology

"Fr. Paul shares the journey by which he became honest as a gay man and as a priest in this beautifully told American Catholic family memoir. His hard won but lightly worn transparency will touch many readers and deserves many imitators."
—James Alison, priest, theologian, and author
